One of the things that makes the Bible credible and inspirational is the fact that it is not a book about perfect people. In fact, it is a book filled with flawed people who at times dealt with adversity, struggled with their faith, and at times failed to walk righteously before God.
The cannons of scripture would have gaping holes, and our Christian journey would lack hope without their stories of faith, failure, and redemption.
While the cannons of scripture are closed, it does not mean that God does not use individuals in like manner today to live but also document their imperfect Christian journey to inspire, give hope, and provide encouragement to the body of Christ.
When reading, The Armor Exchange, I immediately felt that if the author had been born 3000 years earlier, her book would be one of the books in the Bible. Her tragic, yet transparent and triumphant walk with God will challenge you, motivate you, and inspire you to exchange your armor for the armor of God.
It will also open your heart and eyes to those who may sit with us in church but never aware of the obstacles it took for them just to sit by us on any given Sunday.
